You want to help us to translate PixVillage in your favorite Language ? You will find here everything you need.
To translate PixVillage, follow these steps:
- Be sure you have the latest PixVillage version installed.
- Download and Install Microsoft .NET Framework SDK.
- Download PixVillage Language Manager .zip file.
- Copy zipped files in a new folder and run LanguageManager.exe.
- Within the Language Manager, select File/Select Language, then select your language (for example, German).
- You can see the english reference of each text in the lower frame. You just have to write your translation in the upper frame. You can browse messages with the combo box or with the Previous (F2) and Next (F3) buttons.

Then, it is very easy to test your translation within PixVillage even if it is not completed:
- Within the Language Manager, select File/Export.
- You will find a new folder next to LanguageManager.exe. The name of this folder is fr for French, de for German, etc. It is your compiled translation. Just copy this folder in the pixvillage.exe folder (usually c:\Program Files\PixVillage\). You will see that there is already a fr folder for the French translation
- Just (re)start PixVillage. If PixVillage is not already translated, change language settings within PixVillage: menu Tools/Settings/Language.
- Enjoy PixVillage in your favorite language!
